Nelson Mandela






Nelson Mandela had been in prison for 27 years protesting against apartheid and was released in 1990. He was the first black president in the African nation. He had fought for his people and tried to help the blacks for  peace and civil rights.


Nelson Mandela lived in Mvezo, in South Africa. He was born on the 18th of July 1918.  He was put in prison and had been released in the year 1990. He had been in prison for 27 years. Nelson Mandela had six children and also had 20 grandchildren.


Nelson Mandela was the first ever black prime minister . He had fought for his people and tried to stop all black people from slavery to the whites and successfully  it worked and they had Peace.
